Clear Eyes, Full Hearts, Can’t Lose

I sent my cousin Beth a package last week, but am only NOW able to blog about it because I had to wait until I got confirmation that she received said package.

I do not win at the patience game. I was seriously dying.

You see, my cousin Beth and I share some similar obsessions.

One being… Justin Bieber.

Another being, Friday Night Lights. You know that TV show about high school football in Texas? Yes, please.

And when it comes to our favorite FNL hunk… we without a doubt settle on Tim Riggins.

Sorry that I am 110% not sorry.

So when I realized Beth was going to be having a baby boy I knew exactly what I had to do.

Make Tim Riggins baby onesie jerseys.

I was going to make a Justin Bieber one… but didn’t think her Hubs would be too excited about that one. Just wait until they have a girl. JB everywhere.

I braved the Babies R Us (despite my inability to feel comfortable around strange pregnant people) on a mission to find the best onesies for baby Brooks. {{Baby Brooks is my “cousinfew” a term I made up… I technically am his cousin, but who cares about technicalities… I am Aunt Kate. Done and done.}}

You can’t have FNL baby apparel without the phrase, “Clear Eyes, Full Hearts, Can’t Lose.” You just can’t. Beth and I might even randomly text each other that… or post it on each others Facebook… I told you, obsessed.

Baby Brooks is going to look so good in his jersey! They live in Denver, and I made 3 month old onesies… but he can wear those baby legging things to keep his legs warm. I mean… it is football season after all.

Brooks is scheduled to arrive on Wednesday! Please pray for Beth and Brooks (and don’t forget Nick, the hubs) to all have a safe day! {{Should I have said birthing? ew.}}

And I can’t mention Friday Night Lights without confessing my undying love for Coach Taylor.

Have a good Monday!

Katelyn
