I have a very special Throwback Thursday for you today.
While I was making my mother’s 50th birthday book, I stumbled across many old pictures from the 90′s and early 00′s. Luckily for you, I came across this gem.
It was still (me finding the picture) during the time I was living in Washington, but I only had one weekend left to recreate the awesomeness of my circa 2000 decked out in Limited Too self. My mom came up for the weekend and we ended up braving the frigid temperatures to visit Arlington National Cemetery.
And we took this.
I wish I wasn’t wearing a long sleeve t-shirt, Patagonia and ski jacket that made me look like the red Michelin man, but whatever. I only pulled up the pictures beside each other a few days ago and realized that I am in the exact.same.spot. in both pictures. My hand is covering the ‘I’ and everything. Anyways, I thought it was pretty cool my mom just told me to stand “there” and it ended up being the same spot, twice!
So there you go y’all. 11 year old Katelyn in 104 degree Washington summer weather in 2000, and then 23 year old Katelyn in 30 degree Washington winter in 2012.
